How to measure and visualize the discrepancy
between two or more shapes?
How to optimize the deformation that morphs between two given
shapes?
How to simplify a shape by removing small or sharp features
without altering the regular portions?
How to compute the control mesh of a subdivision surface that
approximates a given shape?
How to compress and decompress such a control mesh? How to
recover its sharp edges?
The speaker will discuss the relations between these questions
and propose some answers.
